Minimal and Essential is a one a day multi-vitamin and
mineral formula providing the complete minimum daily
requirements of vitamins. It is a potent antioxidant

Acidophilus/Bifidobacter/FOSAcidophilus/Bifidobacter/FOS is a combination of two bacteria and FOS (fructooligosaccharides). Beneficial bacteria, such as Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium bifidum, are called probiotics. A high-potency, probiotic combination is necessary to rebuild the "good bacteria" in the gastrointestinal tract. Probiotic supplementation can be used daily to maintain intestinal integrity, and is beneficial in inhibiting the growth of bad bacteria, enhancing digestion, increasing resistance to infection. It helps to maintain normal vaginal and intestinal function during antibiotic use. It promotes a reduced occurrence of vaginal and urinary track infections. It has 33% more bacteria than labeled to account for bacteria die-off. It is best to keep this product refrigerated.
FOS (fructooligosaccharides) are naturally occurring
carbohydrates that promote the growth of friendly bacteria,
especially bifidobacteria and lactobacilli, while
decreasing the amount of bad bacteria. FOS also increases
